Films in Book Form
I'm a huge film geek, so naturally I like to infuse my stories with influences from the films I love. I want to write stories that make you feel as if you're watching a movie more than reading a book. What does that mean exactly? Well, a lot of it comes down to pacing, structure, and how scenes are described. This makes for reads that are fast-paced and easy to digest. At the beginning of every book, I'll also list the music artists I listened to while writing. That way, if you want to get into a similar headspace, you can by looking up those artists. Think of it as the film's soundtrack.
Entertainment Takes Priority
These days, it's getting harder and harder to find entertainment that isn't trying to preach an agenda at you. Many of our classic franchises, which have become such a part of our cultural fiber that they can be called modern myths, have been altered into political propaganda. When that happens, the joy of escapism is killed. Not here! My goal is to write stories that everyone can escape into and enjoy, no matter what your real-world beliefs might be. That should be the goal of any entertainer, to craft something enjoyable first and foremost!

Get Ready to Escape
So you might be wondering what kind of stories you'll find here. Well, I have a confession to make which should be no surprise. I can't stand the real world! It kinda blows. So, I write stories that enable us to escape from the problems of life. Some of my stories might take place in a real world setting, but allow us to travel back in time or to the future. Some might be on a completely different planet in a galaxy far away. Some might be in a fantasy realm. And some stories might get a little scary, which is also a fun way to escape. No matter where we go and what adventures we embark on, I believe you'll emerge on the other side entertained and hungry for more!

Biography
I'm married to a really cool gal named Lizzie. We take orders from our two cats, Mazey and Nova. We live in a somewhat rural area of South Carolina not far from a quaint small town. Our day jobs are done from home for a small business where we do graphics and media. We both enjoy writing in our spare time and would love to see our hobby become something bigger one day. I'm a huge tech nerd who collects way too much retro equipment and many, many movies. While Blu-Rays are my go-to format, I've also collected a lot of older films on Laserdisc (the greatest home format ever!) and VHS. I like finding dank VHS tapes at thrift stores for pennies that look like they've had a hard life. (It adds character.) As for music, I confess to being somewhat of an audiophile and enjoy a wide-range of musical genres. I've got a nice little collection of vinyl records, consisting mostly of classic rock, which I spin on a vintage turntable. My favorite genre is Power Metal, which pumps you up and makes you feel empowered, invincible, and like a legendary warrior! We also play video games, usually on Playstation. In addition to recent games, we have a collection of retro games and play them the way they were meant to be played... on a good ole' tube TV. Yeah, I'm a geek, and proud of it!
